Who We Are
Mission: To provide safe, affordable, and reliable transportation solutions to seniors and low-income families.
Urban Rural Rides is a registered charity powered by Volunteers, and created in response to an ever growing need in our communities for safe, affordable, reliable transportation. We offer transportation to registered clients needing rides to essential services such as medical appointments and other such services.
The heart of our operation is in Salisbury and we’ve expanded, with the support of town councils and volunteers to new areas in the province. In the Fredericton Region, we are now providing rides in Cambridge Narrows, Hanwell, Kingsclear, Oromocto and New Maryland.
What We Do
Urban Rural Rides provides affordable door to door transportation service for seniors and those with moderate disabilities in need of drives to obtain essential services. Volunteers provide the Ride Coordinators with information on their availability and matches are made with those in need of transportation. Ride bookings are made 48 hours in advance.
