The NB Sports Hall of Fame is searching for a volunteer (from the Fredericton Area) for an exciting opportunity to assist with the organization and delivery of the Canadian Association for Sport Heritage National Conference
The NB Sports Hall of Fame will be the official host organization, however the majority of the conference will be held at the Fredericton Crown Plaza from June 19 - 21, 2019. This biennial conference usually attracts between 30 and 50 museum and Sports Halls of Fame professionals from across Canada.
We are seeking a mature and organized volunteer to serve as Conference Coordinator and Support, who will be expected to:
- work with NBSHF Staff to ensure exceptional conference coordination,
- connect with key Sports Heritage stakeholders from across Canada to communicate conference details and coordinate registrations,
- connect with and help coordinate conference session presenters,
- assist with general conference coordination and logistics.
