"As the nationwide leader and champion for mental health, Canadian Mental Health Association facilitates access to the resources people require to maintain and improve mental health and community integration, build resilience, and support recovery from mental illness." - CMHA Mission Statement

The Canadian Mental Health Association of New Brunswick (CMHA of NB) is looking for volunteers who have a passion for mental health and are interested in helping with a variety of tasks that help achieve our mission of mental health for all in a mentally healthy society.

Here's how you can help:

  • Administration
  • Reception
  • Events
  • Fundraising
  • Kiosks
  • Education/Presentations
  • CMHA Mental Health Week
  • Support Group Assistant
  • CMHA of NB Kindness Day

The ideal volunteer for our organization is reliable, mature, respectful (as they may be exposed to clientele), and able to function independently as well as in a team. The volunteer must have their own mode of transportation to and from the office and/or events.

If interested in volunteering:

Please contact marie-paule.leblanc@cmhanb.ca to request a volunteer application.

Please note that volunteering at CMHA of NB requires a current criminal/vulnerable sector background check. Please provide a copy along with your application, or speak to us about how to obtain one.

Volunteers will be called upon on an as needed basis. Flexibility is considered an asset.

If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to us at marie-paule.leblanc@cmhanb.ca or 506-859-8114 Ext 07

The CMHA of NB thanks and appreciates all of our volunteers... past, present, and future!
