The Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) is looking for volunteers to join a committee to take care of the Lincoln Nature Trail. This beautiful trail is a short 850m and goes through wetlands and borders the Saint John River. Lots of birds and wildlife can be viewed along the trail! The trail is also shared with the Lincoln Elementary Community School and is used by teachers and students for outdoor education.
The trail needs regular maintenance to keep fast growing plants from taking over the trail. NCC is hosting an information night at the Lincoln Elementary School on Wednesday, June 27th from 6:30pm to 8pm. The info night will give interested volunteers information on the trail, our needs for trail maintenance, and will give everyone a chance to get to know each other. We will also give a short tour of the trail.
