Are you interested in volunteering as a land steward for a beautiful nature preserve in your area? Come and join the Nature Trust of New Brunswick and local stewards, Ida & David MacPherson at the Sea Dog Cove Nature Preserve for a stewardship group workshop on Saturday, June 9th from 1 - 4 PM. We'll be completing a monitoring form of this nature preserve, observing the delicate Lady's Slippers, taking on some trail maintenance and cleanup and making note of any damages from the flood or winter storms.
What to bring:
- close toed shoes
- sunscreen/bugspray
- water/snacks
Optional:
- work gloves (we will have some to spare)
- lopers for trail maintenance
- note book
- camera
