The Mission of NBYO is to inspire children and youth to reach their potential through learning and performing orchestral music. Our acclaimed provincial youth orchestra has toured and performed internationally and across Canada. We stage five to ten community concerts in New Brunswick each season between October and April.
Our Sistema NB centres currently serve 1,200 children and youth with free daily after school orchestral outreach and education in 10 centres across the province: Fredericton, Moncton, Saint John Richibucto, Perth-Andover-Tobique First Nation, Edmundston, Miramichi, Hillsborough, Elsipogtog First Nation, and Tracadie.
The NBYO, Sistema NB, and Tutta Musica (the Teaching Artists of Sistema NB) perform over 125 public concerts and events annually for more than 50,000 patrons.
