Adult Literacy Fredericton

Our mission is changing lives through literacy. Our vision is that all adults have the opportunity to develop their literacy skills. We are an affiliated council of Laubach Literacy New Brunswick and have been in operation since 1978.

Adult Literacy Fredericton is a community-based, registered charitable organization dedicated to improving adult literacy and raising literacy awareness. Trained volunteers help adults who want to improve their basic reading, writing, and math skills through a free, confidential program. Volunteers work one-to-one with learners, using materials relevant to each learner’s literacy level and goals. The program is personalized and learning takes place in an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect.
