Next Bound with Philomena Farms

Philomena Farms is a Veteran owned 150-acres farm that houses horses, pigs, and a variety of poultry. Despite having completed our military service, we want to continue to serve our community in a variety of ways. These include helping individuals heal, through equine activities, and helping our community combat food insecurity by providing high quality food items at affordable costs (or by donation). We believe in the healing powers of community, nature, and animals and aim to help as many individuals and families as we can.

The not-for-profit organisation, Next Bound with Philomena Farms, spear heads donations to the Food Banks and school programs. If you are interested in volunteering on the farm or with the non-profit organisation in an administrative role, we would love to hear from you!

Day to day on the farm, we raise animals and grow produce for consumption. A portion of the meat raised is donated to organisations such as the Oromocto and Surrounding Areas Food Bank, and various school programs through our associated Non-profit organisation (Next Bound with Philomena Farms, Inc). We also host monthly free meals to our local communities in order to help combat food insecurity and bring back a sense of community. Another aspect on the farm is the equine side. We work with horses that are used for riding lessons as well as Equine Assisted Learning, providing therapeutic benefits to a variety of individuals.
