Location: 531 St Marys Street, Fredericton NB

Time Commitment: Flexible shifts ( Food Bank is open Monday, Wednesday Friday 9am-12pm & 1pm-2pm)

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities: 

-Unpack, sort and stock donated food/ goods onto shelves

- Rotate Stock ensure freshness 

-Maintain organization of shelves.

-Support a safe and welcoming environment for all volunteers and clients.

-Help unload orders from other organizations.

Qualifications:

- Ability to lift 25-50lbs 

-Comfortable working in a team environment.

-Reliable, punctual, detail oriented.

-No prior experience, just come with a positive attitude and passion for helping our community.

Are you a people person with a friendly smile with a love for helping people and wanting to give back to the Community of Fredericton?

We are looking for a few friendly faces to join our team here in the Food Bank. We are looking for a friendly face to be the first point of contact when your clients enter, help get them checked in, book their next appointment and review profile as required. 

We are also looking for volunteers who will take the clients "shopping" throughout their visit. At The Salvation Army we aim to give back dignity to our clients by providing personalized shopping experiences by giving clients choice, and conversation much like at the grocery stores. Appointments are booked every 15 minutes , which allows us the time to connect and make clients feel seen.
