The Falls Brook Centre is looking for board members!

FBC is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals, who are committed to assisting the organisation achieve its goals.

Desired Qualifications:

– Experience in Business (accounting)

– Experience or knowledge in non-profit organizations

– Experience in creative writing

– Experience and/or knowledge in environmental concepts

– Prior experience on a Board of Directors is an asset

Committee member requirements are: commitment to tasks, decision-making, and integrity. It is a rewarding experience that allows members to gain new insights and develop new skills that will aid them in future endeavors.

Members are expected to participate in meetings quarterly, to take actions needed to achieve the organisation goals, maintain structure, and to engage in generating revenue (from fundraising, sponsorship, memberships, and services) on behalf of the organization.

Through partnerships, recreation, and education that support the creation of a balanced, sustainable way of life, FBC seeks to explore and promote practical solutions to today’s environmental, social, and economic challenges.

The Grant Writer will be responsible researching, writing and coordinating the grant application process.
