Job Description: Are you a handy person who loves sports? The New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame is looking for a volunteer Jack or Jill-of-All-Trades who can build exhibit cases and displays, can paint and knows the ins and outs of small construction projects.

The primary task will be to work with the curator in bringing exhibits to life by helping design, construct and assemble exhibit cases as well as creative displays and installations. Other tasks may include building shelving, painting and small repairs.

Skills: Carpentry, construction, painting

Requirements: This volunteer role is suitable to an individual who can commit at least 2-3 hours once a week as needed.

Benefits: Working within the Curatorial team and meeting new people who are motivated to tell the story of New Brunswick’s rich sports heritage. Free admission to the NB Sports Hall of Fame. Invitation to events and activities organized by the NB Sports Hall of Fame. Free parking and coffee!

Clients: There is no direct contact with the public in this role.

Dates and Times:  The NB Sports Hall of Fame is open from 8:30 to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
