General Description: The New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame is looking for a volunteer Curatorial Research Assistant to help develop the new exhibits that are scheduled to launch in the Spring to be unveiled for our Summer season.
Specific Duties:
- Working with artefacts and archival documents
- Researching and selecting artefacts for exhibits
- Writing labels and supporting documentation
- Assist with set up and installation of exhibits
Ideal Qualifications:
- Knowledge of / willingness to learn about New Brunswick’s sports heritage and the NBSHF’s Hall of Famers
- Excellent command of written and verbal communication skills, especially spelling and grammar
- Ability to reduce large amounts of information to summaries or point form
- Experience with research techniques, footnoting, copyright
- Experience with Microsoft Word and databases
Hours: 2-3 hours per week minimum during the research and development stage.
Requirements: This volunteer role is suitable to an individual who can commit at least 2-3 hours once or more a week on an ongoing basis.

Dates and Times: The NB Sports Hall of Fame is open from 8:30 to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
