We need your help to ensure the protection of endangered and rare plant species that call our George M. Stirret Nature Preserve home. On Wednesday, November 7th, the Nature Trust of New Brunswick will be hosting a labour intensive cleanup at the George M. Stirret Nature Preserve, which will require heavy lifting and the removal of asphalt. We hope that you will join us in our efforts to increase the ecological integrity of the Saint John River shoreline.
The cleanup will be an all day event. Participants are asked to arrive on site for 9:30 a.m. with the event predicted to end around 4 p.m. The George M. Stirrett Nature Preserve is located in the Village of Tilley, Victoria County.
Although the event is not in Fredericton, carpooling is encouraged for this event. If you are interested in attending and need a drive from the Fredericton area, please contact me. If would like to meet on site, parking can be found here.
