Description

People who volunteer at Wallflower help us to provide the highest standard of care for our residents. Mostly, this includes doing farm chores to keep our facilities in great condition. But there is another important aspect of volunteering; the opportunity to build friendships with our animal residents. We believe that these relationships are a cornerstone on which to build the type of world we want to live in - one in which all animals are respected and valued for their individuality. Our animal friends benefit greatly from positive human interactions.

Volunteers will mainly be responsible for mucking out stalls/pens, yards, and pastures; laying clean bedding in living areas; scrubbing and refilling waters in each living space; restocking hay, straw, and wood shavings in each building; and keeping each building generally clean and well-maintained.
