Our clothing sorters are a very important part of our store's success. The clothing sorter receives, sorts, and prepares donated items for display in the store; determines suitability of items based on established standards; assists in maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of the warehouse area. Assumes responsibilities of Store Clerk as needed.

General Job Duties

• Opening clothing bags/boxes

• Sorting clothing in a fast and efficient manor into various categories

• Efficiently and accurately checks items for quality

• Attach tags to clothing items with needle tagging gun

• Drag or move (with a dolly) clothing

• Carrying clothing and distributing clothes in the proper location on the sales floor

• Cleaning of the store including mopping, sweeping, wiping and vacuuming (as required)

• Occasional assistance with back-up cash relief (specify on application if not interested in doing this function)

• Team members may be required to perform other job-related functions as requested by your management team requirements

• Flexibility with regard to availability and work schedules (must have the availability to work days, evenings and/or weekends

• Ability to work in a fast paced ever growing business

• Able to efficiently organize time and manage priorities

• Effectively able to communicate both verbally and written (English essential, bilingualism an asset)

• Ability to endure the physical requirements on an on-going basis

Our cashiers play a very important role within our store. Our cashiers interact with customers continuously and will process payments using cash, debit and credit cards. They also help maintain a safe, organized shopping experience for our valued customers, and have the desire to promote a level of excellence and pride in customer service.

Job duties

Remaining aware of customer needs, monitoring and ensuring fast, efficient and friendly service continuously Light cleaning duties Processing payments in cash, debit or credit cards Bagging customer purchases Maintaining displays, ensuring clothing is hung neatly and are in their proper sections, ensuring that all other inventory is displayed correctly and in their proper sections. Excellent product knowledge and accuracy in price list comprehension Team members may be required to perform other job-related functions as requested by the management team

Our merchandisers play an essential role within our company. The merchandiser is responsible for stocking shelves with inventory, this includes ensuring merchandise has been visually and mechanically inspected for resale.

Job duties

Stocking and pricing Inventory on a daily basis Daily outside maintenance - picking up garbage, sweeping parking lot, mowing/whipper snipping, when required 

 

Requirements

Must be physically able to do light lifting (20 lbs.), and must be able to physically reach high and low shelves. Ability to climb stairs on multiple occasions each day.
