We provide programs that support health, peace and human rights. We provide these programs in Atlantic Canada, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. In Canada, the “I am Me” Youth Project promotes and supports the mental well-being and productivity of at risk youth between 10 to 24 years of age, particularly those in the indigenous and immigrant communities. We also offer the "Rainbow Nation Project", an interactive dialogue aimed to improve and strengthen the intercultural understanding of students in grades 3 through 12 and their teachers. In addition, we offer peace education programs and various workshops in the areas of mental health and human rights, in an effort to reduce the mental health risks associated with discrimination, isolation and armed conflict. In the Congo and Uganda, we provide psychologic support, intervention and financial support to victims of traumatic events (torture, sexual and domestic violence), and help them access community services. We also provide innovative income generating activities to those impacted by traumatic events. In addition, we provide peace and human rights education and health education in these countries.
