Qui nous sommes

United Way's mission is to improve lives and build community by engaging individuals and mobilizing collective action.

HISTORY: 57 years in the community. Serving the counties of York, Sunbury, Queens, parts of Northumberland, Carleton, Victoria, Madawaska, and Restigouche

INVESTMENTS: Funds are invested locally in our communities. Applications are thoroughly reviewed by a Community Investment Committee.

COMMUNITY CAPACITY BUILDING: We provide training and education for community groups and facilitate agency development.

PARTNERSHIPS: We foster collaborative partnerships within our community; We are responsive and proactive in our approach to identifying and addressing community needs.

Ce que nous faisons

With our focus on impact, we strive to partner for long-term, sustainable change that helps people improve their lives and results in stronger, more resilient communities.

Through donations from our community, we are able to invest in 47 strategies, programs, and services through 26 community partners.

We focus our efforts on three main areas essential to creating opportunities for a good quality of life: moving people from poverty to possibility, building strong and healthy communities, and helping kids be all they can be. When you donate to United Way Central, your donation goes to support changing 17,000 lives right here in Central New Brunswick.

We and our partner agencies are always looking for volunteers to help deliver essential programs, services, and strategies locally in our region.
