Family and Early Childhood West

Family and Early Childhood is a not for profit organization funded by the Department of Education and Early Childhood to provide in-home services, parenting skills, attachment screening, pre-school screening / follow up support and administer Early Years Evaluation- Direct assessment.

The three program objectives of Family and Early Childhood West draw on the key elements of Healthy Families America (2018-2021) which form a competency based framework that guides interventions and assessments. 1. Promoting healthy child growth and development 2. Promoting positive parent-child interaction / attachment 3. Improving family functioning. The agency works in partnership with professionals and community agencies to support families. Referrals are managed, assessments completed and then a family service plan is created based on the needs of the child and family including goals and outcome indicators.
