CISV Fredericton is a nonprofit non-religious Peace Education Organization. We are part of an International Organization with over
200 Chapters in 60+ Countries! Our chapter was established in 1993 – we’ve been making a difference in our community for over 30 years!
OUR MISSION: To Educate & Inspire for a More Just and Peaceful World
We believe that everyone can play an active role in creating a better world – a world of peace, justice, and equality, where Human Rights and the environment are respected. Our fun learning-by-doing activities help Youth develop the Attitudes, Skills, and Knowledge needed to act for positive change in their communities & beyond.
Ce que nous faisons
Our chapter‘s Junior Branch provides Youth with Leadership Opportunities. With the support of adult volunteers, the Youth on our Junior Branch Board organize local several types of activities for ages 10 & up:
- Educational
- Service
- Social
- Minicamps
Our Chapter also provides opportunities for Youth ages 11 & up to attend International Camp Programs or CISV Canada’s National Camp.
We also provide many growth & leadership opportunities for adult volunteers within our Chapter & at a national and international level.
